I prayed for my relationship because I felt my significant other getting distant from me. I prayed that we would remain in a loving, happy, and faithful relationship, and that we would continue to grow together in love.
Today is the 9th day. The final day. He broke up with me today, but I had to ask him if he wanted to break up, because when I told him I loved him, he didn't say it back. He said his feelings had changed...and he didn't know why. It hurts, so very much. I have faith and a believe in God. I am always praying to Saint Jude and try to be grateful and thankful for what I have. I believed this person was someone I could go the distance with, and that I could have a future with, especially since he told me he loved me and I love him back. Love conquers all, right?
The hardest part in this prayer, in doing this novena....is knowing God must've said "No." As I write this with tears in my eyes and my heart incredibly heavy... I don't know what to think. This is a person who showed their emotional side to me, who told me they wanted me to have their children, who told me he was sticking around no matter what to win my trust, and whose family I absolutely adored. I thought I found the one.
But God said no. At least for now. I don't know what the future holds. I just wish it didn't have to hurt so bad.

DeleteI have prayed a lot of the novena prayers on here in the past 13 days. Some of my more urgent requests have been answered like finding temporary work when I really needed it but more importantly this prayer and many of the others like the one to st. Expedite, the Virgin Mary and the specific one to St. Jude have started to provide me with a clarity on what I really want. I changed my original prayer and started praying for what I really want. I believe it really does work!

Thank you Jesus for hearing my prayer. I said this prayer 9 times per hour for nine hours. I also said a nine day novena to the Sacred Heart.http://www.prayerbook.com/Devotions/Sacred%20Heart/shojnove.htm#Completion. I could not believe the miracle that happened on the tenth day.
