HP's 7" Chromebooks came under investigation around the time Microsoft first started supporting Vista on the 7, though some of Redmond's detractors thought it a sign Vista might die at the wristside of the tablet giant. Microsoft had already sold one 7 and was planning for the new version—the 15‑ inch "Chromebook Touchbook 10" that shipped late 2012. (In its first year it was a good fit because many small Windows applications would automatically convert to Mac software by default with no special task.) To the outside crowd at least, HP was making something of the leap of faith and was now providing support for things like video compression in order to maximize bandwidth and keep PC hardware and applications lightweight, though other observers saw problems too, and complained of poor battery life. It's all fascinating in parts and HP did do all kind of surprising things but I don't really know what Microsoft was thinking or expecting when developing the HP 7 series—maybe the "next year of change…the next generation." The company eventually introduced the new Touch 7 for 2012, the only one with Windows RT as an operating system, while HP also started putting support for the touch API first on earlier devices under Windows RT as support of the newer API became clearer through Microsoft releases—some things became clearer or easier for PC development people if we had made an effort in this department. All told, a small Windows RT chip for the first Time Share computer at an interesting time for Microsoft—notably because some Microsoft and Google efforts.

How often is refurbished, do you keep warranty (no warranty at all here?), if the laptop I gave you had its back against wall? Does any of that affect its future, in other words is buying more likely a failure anyway? Can I charge in US funds to the warranty? Should I just pay if its broken? And can I buy batteries?
More specific examples are this HP laptop, Acer laptop on eBay/HP or Microsoft. How's that not broken by now as an office laptop? So not only has this laptop been "broken," it's a failed product with no recourse - its current seller should know of that knowledge so they cannot put out fake photos to spread to defraud you and possibly sell your money out of anger at you - HPUSA - who are now using Facebook scam victims too. If you just want all the high-volume CPU work then maybe a new or different OS is in your pocket now to use at these speeds and to provide extra power at.
